Growing up in the same small town, Jon and I have shared a deep-rooted connection that dates back to our early childhood. We both attended the same elementary school and experienced the close-knit, familiar rhythm of small-town life. One of the unique aspects of our upbringing was the way healthcare—and specifically dentistry—was delivered in our community. My father was Jon’s dentist, and rather than visiting a traditional clinic, Jon would often come to our house for routine dental procedures and cleanings. It wasn’t uncommon to see him dropping by during lunch breaks or in the afternoons, as our home doubled as a place of care and comfort.

This experience left a lasting impression on both of us. The simplicity and warmth of receiving dental care in a home environment helped build not just smiles, but genuine relationships. There was something special about the personal connection created by welcoming someone into your home—a sense of trust, familiarity, and comfort that is often lost in today’s clinical settings.

We want to revive that personal, heartfelt approach to dentistry by recreating the experience of being welcomed into a home. That’s the inspiration behind our "Dental Cottage" theme—a place where every patient is not just a name on a chart, but a guest in our home. We’re passionate about bringing back that homey feel to dentistry and offering a space where comfort and care go hand in hand.
